Watch movements and Typewriter Keys

Here are some examples. It's hard to have a really nice (matching) pair of clock movements/faces. Typewriter keys are hard to find too (because they're kind of expensive and everyone wants them!) But I want to make more cuff links and earrings with clock faces and matching gears. I'm obsessed with vintage/antiques! I have 2 typewriters... this is my most recent.

Steampunk Fairy Tale - Cinderella

I got these large clock hands in the mail and decided to make jewelry with them. I know the gaudy big style is in now, so maybe it will add to the Steampunk flair. I want to do a whole series of fairy tale/steampunk jewelry with these. Alice in Wonderland is another in the works, as well as Sleeping Beauty.



This is the first Fairy Tale Steampunk Necklace created in the new Steampunk Sorority Line, exclusively sold at InspireAshine.

The two large clock hands and the silver clock face remind us of the clock striking midnight in this beloved fairy tale classic, a favorite for adults and kids alike. The little clear slipper is reminiscent of the one that Cinderella lost on her way out of the castle, out of her own fairy tale and back to her subservient life. Three different chains - one gunmetal, two silver - connect the pieces together, and a black ribbon with a silver clasp attaches it nicely around your neck. Beautiful design for all occasions.
