I love this new look! And I've been wearing them around, so have been getting compliments. When I tell the person that I made it, she gets excited and says she wants to order some for herself or her friends. "Christmas orders, roll on in!!" I say.
So here are some new styles that have come out of my creative little brain.
This owl necklace was a birthday request. The buyer looked at all my other jewelry and noticed I make a lot of gold chain necklaces, but his girlfriend only wears silver. So he chose the owl focal pendant style he liked from one necklace as well as the chain/bead style of another, and he chose bead colors: purples and pinks. This was fun to make and even more fun to see my jewelry on another person!!

I added a pretty blue and gold bead to add some color and character to Harry the Owl. And made a wire-wrapped bead ring to go along with it. This is my first attempt at both styles. Hope you like!
Creations I donated to Write Act (my theatre company) for fundraising. You like? You can purchase them here: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=hkp+art+auction&_sacat=0&_trksid=p3286.m270.l1313&_odkw=hkp&_osacat=0
It was so fun to make feather hair clips, but you know me... I have A.D.D. I wanted to make other things too. I liked the Steampunk movement a lot, so I found some clock/watch parts and gathered some charms and adhered them together to get a modern-Victorian steampunk look! Here are a few examples:
I fell in love with making steampunk owls!
Steampunk-style (modern age) Friendship Jewelry:
And this was the first one I sold!!! One of my favorites! :)
If you like any of these, please leave feedback. And if you'd like me to create a variation of one of these, let me know! No two pieces of jewelry is the same. Each is a unique one-time creation!
I'm a Sag and my sign says it all: When you think big, the world’s your playground and everyone’s your friend. Much like fire signs Aries and Leo you're dynamic and charismatic: You have friends in all areas of life. You attract people by your unbridled optimism and good-natured directness. Around strangers, you're first to break the ice with silliness to get the party moving. There are two extremes of Sagittarians. The first seeks to be a great intellectual. You have grand ideas about philosophy, religion, the arts, history, and current events. You debate long, and you debate well. In fact, you debate for the love of it—you're curious about getting to the profundity of the matter and you're big-headed about it, which means you don’t accept being wrong (you benefit greatly from the presence of a diplomatic Libra if arguments get too scalding). The other extreme is athletic. The centaur is a hunter—you thrive on competition, and usually get dirtiest in the mud. Both extremes lead to your great love— travel. You want to see as much of the world as possible, to say you were there and to know what makes it tick. It’s the man-on-horse-back influence which makes you want to just go.
